After finishing Legends of War: Patton’s Campaign, we started to work on its port to HD, History: Legends of War, and, at the same time, we wanted to work in something different, a new genre away from strategy. For each map, the very first step was to design a 2D Concept about what we wanted to see and play in the map. The maps could have a range from 1024×1024 to 2048×2048 pixels, where 1 pixel was 1 meter.
